The aim of the course is to qualify individuals working on motor vehicles to meet the European Union F gas (fluorinated greenhouse gas) regulations that came into force 4th July 2010.
After July 2010, all individuals working on Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) systems must have achieved, as a minimum, a refrigerant-handling qualification which meets MAC Comission Regulations. This unit and course meets those regulations, enabling individuals to be fully certified. The course is designed for learners who have some knowledge of Motor Air Conditioning.
