Course Directory / Slinger/banksman training

The safe and efficient use of lifting equipment and the handling of loads is dependant on the skills and knowledge of the Slinger/Banksman. The Slinger/Banksman will need to have knowledge of the different type of slinging equipment types and ancillary equipment, to recognise if there are in a safe condition, to be able to store and maintain the equipment in the correct conditions, to be able to plan a lift, use the correct signalling techniques, to be able to supervise the lifting operation, to be able to clearly signal to an operator the appropriate commands for the lifting and manoeuvring of loads and to ensure the overall safety of all personnel within the working area.

Our fully-trained instructors will travel to your company premises to deliver this course to a minimum of 3 candidates.
