Carpentry (Furniture) Assessor/Tutor
Part-time role, 3 days per week split between Teaching and Assessing.
Job Description: As a Tutor, to plan and deliver innovative teaching sessions on specified programmes and to inspire and motivate learners so they achieve their full potential. As an Assessor, to effectively manage a caseload of learners with 4-6 weekly contact visits across defined vocational sectors, working to SMART targets which ensure all Framework Components are achieved in a timely manner.
Applicants must have:
• Teaching qualification (minimum Level 3)
• Appropriate vocational qualifications at a minimum of Level 3 or relevant industrial experience
• Assessor award (TAQA / A1 / D32/33)
• Qualified in English and Maths to Level 2 with demonstrably good standards of written/verbal communication skills
