Food Hygiene

This qualification is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) for anyone who is looking to pursue a career in the Catering or Hospitality industry.

Level 2 Food Hygiene course has been designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors. Business environments can increase effectiveness by staff and employees who learn about food safety and hygiene.

It is legally required to be supervised, instructed and trained to a level appropriate to the duties of a food business. It’s not required for food handlers to do formal training but evidence of legal compliance is required by the means of a certificate that confirms a candidate has passed a recognised course.

The training outcomes is to gain knowledge and skills on food hygiene and health and safety to be used in all catering establishments such as – restaurants, fast food outlets, hospitals, pubs, hotels etc. But the overall aim of this course is to give delegates practical knowledge and fundamentals of good practice and safe food handling in a work environment.

The prospects of this course is to prepared you to find employment in the food sector and gain vital knowledge and understanding to help when you secure employment.

This course is recommended to anyone who wants to work in the catering and hospitality, food retail or manufacturing industry.
